What is Fortune?
Fortune represents the total amount of coins you have earned while playing on Couchcade. Unlike your spendable balance, your Fortune never goes down and determines your standing on the leaderboard. Feel free to spend coins any time you want!
What are Prisms?
Prisms are a separate cosmetic currency used in the Prism Shop. You can spend them to directly unlock capsule cosmetic items without rolling capsules again.
You earn Prisms by pulling duplicate cosmetic items you already own from Capsules. The rarer the duplicate item, the more Prisms you will receive.
Food items do not duplicate, so duplicate Prism awards only apply to cosmetics. If you already own a cosmetic, the shop will mark it as Collected and you will not be able to buy it again.
How do I raise my Companion?
Every player is assigned a unique digital companion with a color, shape, and mood. You can grow your pet by earning XP through two main activities:
- Training: Click the "Train" button on your profile dashboard to gain immediate XP (30-minute cooldown).
- Feeding: Use food items found in Capsules to boost your pet's level. Rarer food gives more XP.
As your companion levels up, your Rank increases, showcasing your dedication as a trainer.
How do I get Badges?
Badges are permanent achievements awarded for reaching major milestones. Some are given for joining Couchcade early (like the Pioneer badge), while others are unlocked by hitting specific Pet Levels or Fortune totals. Your badge collection is visible to everyone who visits your profile.
Saving My Progress
If you are playing as a Guest, your progress is saved only in your current browser. To ensure you never lose your companion, XP, or Fortune, we recommend Linking an Account with your email address in the Settings menu. This allows you to log in from any device.
